Ultimate Beginner's Guide to GGW: From Zero to Gangster Legend

Hey everyone! I've been playing GGW for quite a while now, and I've got to say—it's one of the most addictive and immersive strategy game experiences I've had in years. The dynamic gameplay, the gorgeous character designs, and the deep progression systems kept me hooked from day one.

Whether it's your first time playing GGW or even your first try in the strategy game, this guide is tailor-made for you. Let's get you off to a solid start and on the path to becoming a kingpin. Read on, boss!

I. The Three Most Important Things To Do First

Complete the "Pick up Girls" Plan

By following the tasks in the "Pick up Girls" Plan, you'll quickly get a handle on how the game works. And let's be honest—meeting a series of stunning ladies is definitely a fun perk. If you're a beginner, this is the most enjoyable way to learn the ropes!

Take Over the Streets

Tackle city events step by step and take control of every gang on the streets. This process unlocks new regions and buildings, allowing you to expand your empire and significantly increase your power base.

Join an Active Alliance

Being part of an active alliance gives you access to tons of alliance rewards, faster development speed through alliance assistance, and participation in team-based gameplay. Finding the right alliance that suits you is crucial in any strategy game—don't skip this!

II. How to Grow Fast

Boss Level & Income Rate

Leveling up your boss is key—it unlocks new features, grants you talent points, and increases the max level your lieutenants (head honchos) can reach.

To progress, focus on increasing your income rate, which is directly tied to upgrading lieutenants, buildings, and facilities. Once your income rate hits a certain threshold, you'll be able to upgrade your boss.

When you unlock the talent system, be sure to rush for the "Grenade" skill—it gives a major boost for winning early-stage battles.

Enforcers

In the early game, prioritize leveling up the five enforcers you can deploy, upgrade their stars, equiping and upgrading their gear. This will make it much easier to win combat-based city events.

Pro Tip: Consider unlocking Audrey for 20 V-Coins. Her high DPS makes a huge difference in fights. Additionally, the bundle includes extra gear, leveling materials, an extended building queue, and a permanent ad-free perk. It's a really solid deal for fast-tracking your progress.

Buildings

Start by upgrading your Boss Office. It unlocks more game features and boosts overall progression.

Always keep your Alliance Center at the highest level you can manage. It increases the number of alliance assistance you can receive, greatly enhancing your development speed.

Don't forget to upgrade your camps to at least Lv.3. This unlocks all deployment slots for enforcers.

Need a quick boost in income? Upgrade your Nightclub, Casino, Restaurant, and Gun Shop facilities. These buildings greatly increase your resource income rates.

Research & Technology

Prioritize the Military tech tree, especially technologies that unlock higher-tier troops—that's what determines your strength in later RTS battles on the map.

After that, consider maxing out the enforcer tech branches. They have relatively short research times and offer a good boost to your performance in "Exploration".

III. New Server Events

Three major events only happen once when you join a new server: Gang Star, Income Rate Boost, and Income Rate Ranking.

These events offer generous rewards, so it's highly recommended that you complete as many tasks as possible during them. If you're aiming for a top ranking in the Income Rate event, focus on:

Let's stop here for now—I don't want to overload you with too much info at once. I hope this guide helps all the fresh players get a solid start in GGW. Thanks for the support, and good luck rising through the ranks, boss!
